I was driving on Thursday of last week, when my car randomly shut off (exactly as it does when it runs out of gas-- lurches forward and sputters a little bit, then the engine shuts off-- still have batter power, though.). I know by college things like this shouldn't happen, but I'm been bullied by people in my class. 21 weeks pregnant and seriously stressed out with work?

Ok so I'm 21 weeks pregnant and finding it really hard to cope working full time. I'm a retail concession supervisor/ manager and I'm souly responsible for my concession. I have only 3 other part time staff members to help me out and I'm finding it extremely stressful trying to meet daily targets and doing all my daily duties as I find myself on my own a lot of the time! I stand 4 8 hours a day and have never had a day off sick so I'm very hesitant about asking a doctor to sign me off work but I'm feeling it may be the only option to ensure my baby is ok! I'm scared of leaving my boss in the lurch (who is based in another store and rarely see) with not enough cover to run the concession. I've also found that I'm losing hearing in both my ears and its very difficult for me to hear my customers and help them out so that has worried me a lot aswell.. I'm just in a constant panic and can't enjoy my 2days off a week because I'm constantly getting phone calls from work about problems! There are always people who are better than you so you should just try to improve , learn new things and enjoy as much as possible. Try to take some lessons from some teacher if possible. Ok its hard to explain this in a nutshell. I met this wonderful guy and we get on really well. 2006 nissan altima starting problems and lurching?

I recently bought my 2006 nissan altima with 56k miles. It sometimes takes a while to start (7 seconds holding the key in ignition) and sometimes it takes 2 tries to start. Trouble using the clutch..?

I was doing s motorcycle course this morning and I was enjoying my self and was doing pretty good. I was riding around in first gear. Then we started this next exercise which was riding our clutch snd going through pylons. I found it hard. I let my clutch out to much or not enough...I didn't stall it but the bike lurched forward on me twice when I was doing my left turn in the figure 8. I scared my self and went home. I really want to ride a motorcycle and I already regret leaving but I just couldn't figure out that dam clutch. Anyone got any pointers and does it ever get easier? Car driving question?

Have a question about stopping the car and pulling away. When I'm at traffic lights that are about to turn green or I'm stopping momentarily at a junction to wait for a car, I leave the handbrake down, I've been told to do that. When I'm pulling away with handbrake up I feel the bite easily because with the handbrake up I can feel the car trying to lurch forward, I drop clutch a fraction and then I'm at the bite. With the handbrake down I obviously don't get this lurch so I tend to go past the bite and stall. Any tips on finding the bite with handbrake down? Also if I've stopped the car for a sec am I supposed to take my right foot off the brake before I find the bite with my left foot, or keep right foot on the brake until I find the bite, then move right off brake and move it to accelerator when I want to move off, I'm scared of rolling.

My mower has about 8 settings for speed and uses the lever positioned in the notches to change speeds. Ok so in a nutshell....I love food...and im not overweight and I dont think I eat alot. I need major advice here...?

Ok so in a nutshell I don't get along with my mother whom I live with, and I haven't seen my dad in 2 years because we kicked him out due to his drinking problem. My mom is addicted to facebook and is on the computer almost 24/7. She always gets mad at the smallest things that me and my sister do (we're 21 and 23) and its a constant battle between me and her. I want to move out so bad but im in university and dont know how well that will work...but my sister i know would probabaly be on board with me, I have animals and i will not leave without them. There are days when my mom is happy and not angry or on edge, where we go grocery shopping together or small things like that...but then there are more and more of those days where I feel like i dont even know her anymore, she talks to random people on facebook, and i have no idea about what, and is addicted to the games. Like it has interferred with all of our lives; getting her crops off is more important to her than listening to how my day went, etc. And when the internet stops working for some reason im always to blame, everything that bad happens i'm accused. My story has so much more to it, but I just need somebody to say something...i don;t really get to talk about how bad this has been for me to anybody. I just want to know how to handle this...should i get the heck out of here already? How hard would it be to live on our own and go to school

2000 Honda Accord, car died, electrical & transmission problems, 197k miles?

As a long time honda lover/ drive that doesnt sound anything like the typical honda. The person before you must have screwed it up pretty good but i would say all the lights coming arnt arnt just a couisidence its most likely just all starting to recognize the problems now because sometimes the ecu take a while to detect them. One thing is for the brake lamp light/ this has nothing to do with brake performance all this means is that most likely one of your tailights is broke or burnt out, as soon as you replace it with the right bulb it should turn itself off. For the abs it will most likely be a (WSS) which is a wheel speed sensor which just uses a magnet to detect the wheel speed so when one wheel locks up while all the others are spinning it will automaticall pump the brakes for you to keep that wheel from locking up which is the point of ABS, this is a common problem in all cars which ABS unfortunantly hondas to. And unfortunantly i hate to tell you this but the person that wrecked it probably screwed up the tranny pretty bad, your only hope is check the tranny fluid level and hopefully all it is is that its to low because cars do have a safety that shuts it off if the tranny fluid is to low so that it doesnt ruin the transmission but it maybe just isnt shutting the car the whole way off because its probably not working right because of the wreck. I hope that works but if not its probably the tranny. Just keep in mind that any honda has potential so any money that you put into it will more the be worth it. Hope this helps Good luck!

My car shakes when i first start it?

When I first start my car it sort of lurches forward back and forth. And then it won't do it anymore except every once in awhile when I accelerate, and it seems hard to accelerate sometimes. What could be the problem? Its a 2005 Chevy aveo.

Cross Country Spike- Nike Zoom victory XC- What size Should i get?

I am looking into getting the Nike Zoom Victory XC spike for this season yet dont know which size. In the spring for track I had run with the Nike Matumbo's at a size of 10.5 and recently tried them on and they seem to be pretty tight. Since these are cross country spikes I would like them to be a little tight but not as tight as the 10.5 matumbos are on me now. Do these run small or big or anything that I should know about. Which camera or lens suits best for landscape photography?

I am interested in Landscape photography and would like to take pictures from say 50-200m distance. I want to take very zoomed shots from that distance. WIll NIkon Coolpix L120 or P500 with 21X or 36X optical zoom repectively suffice or will I get better results with 18-200mm/ 28-300mm lens used in DSLRs which give around 11X . I also interested in great image quality though not size. In nutshell, I need a camera or lenses which can give great zooming as well as great image quality. Any suggestions?

I dreamt I wanted to kill myself?

The other night I dreamt I wanted to kill myself. Oddly, it was a reoccurring dream at first. This dream in a nutshell usually involves me fighting with my older sister, often violently, and usually she is berating me, making me feel awful and miserable. I have these dreams often enough and they are emotionally draining, and I wake up in a terrible mood. (We are really close in reality) During the dream I became overwhelmed with her and resolved to kill myself, and she was callous about it when I told her. During the dream I had been thinking about killing myself, but not wanting to actually die. (That is probably why I told her I was going to do it in the dream) Just looking for some input as to why this reoccurring dream was different this time around. Any thoughts?

Have put diesel in a gasoline vehicle so woryied?

yes my boss is now making me drive his SUV around for use of giving customers rides home and whutknot, driving to auto shops to pick up parts, ect, because this is the shop truck at where i just started, we are closed today he also said drive it home my boy so you don't have to walk. so anyweys i went to fill it up with the gas and thought it was diesel cause its a big truck and i never been around this stuff before, so put the desel in there instead of gas, it made it back home (2 blocks) but was lurching and almost dying by the end and because of this i smashed my neybors bumper up with it as it lurched up on that gumps. now what can i do? can i get that desel out somehow? have already tried opening the tank and sticking a hose in and letting the desel come out but my neybor said he ware gonna call the cops for letting desel into the street. and his children play out there so he cant let the desel get on them, also its in the engine by now i will need to get that out by tomorrow so i can drive it back to work. i cant get fired for this small insident that is not my fault, so any car man please tell me how to get the desel out of my vehicle, this is not my fault can i sue the gastation for not being self service? also how do i use netflix and can i get naked movies on netflix?

Lumpy saab 95 2006 idle?

we have a 2006 saab 95 aero with auto gearbox. the engine is a 2.3 litre with a stonking great big turbo on it. when at low revs, stationary or slowing down gently the car seems to throb and lurch almost, it doesn't move but it seems to shake and wobble. the revs pick up and drop and aren't steady. before we get it checked i would like to know what sort of problem this could be...

What's Wrong With Me At The Moment? Sharp Pain/Ache?

It only started about a half hour gao, I was in the car eating a mcflurry (not sure if this has anything to do with it but every detail is helpful right!) and I go tone of those pains thats almost indescribably, it starts around the lower back area and affects your whole abdomen. Anyways, I thought I just needed to change my posture so I sat on my foot, but that didn't change anything. I tried walking for a while but I walked with a bit of a lurch, if I stood upright it would spark up the pain. So now im on my computer and I still feel it. Its right under my sternum, maybe around the stomach area? Up a little maybe? But it feels like an ache and a bit of a sharp pain. I don't know whats going on but it's pretty uncomfortable. How can I fix it? Thanks! :)

Van shakes when accelerating?

(GMC panel Van) The problem started when I pulled up to a light and came to a complete stop, when the light turned green I tried to accelerate but pressing down the pedal made the whole van shake pretty violently and it barely accelerated. I tried letting it coast for a while and pulling over to check the transmission fluid and some other fluids everything was normal,, I did notice one other thing when idling in park pressing the accelerator does not make the van shake, it just revs the engine, it only shakes in the drive position. I've been having fear and depression?

I am a 14 year old male, the age where people have lots of chemical changes going on in their brain, and lately (more than a week) I've been having bouts of fear about different things, and my thought patterns have been changing. I now question even the simplest of things. The things I fear are in a nutshell becoming insane, dying from an aortic aneurysm (which I know is extremely rare), and the fear that I can't trust anyone, and also an extreme fear of suicide (basically my fear is that if all these fears get so bad I might decide to end it. i don't want to at this point). Back to my thought patterns changing, I used to like knives and guns and things, but now my mind considers them dangerous, bad things, and I agreed to come to the blade show in Atlanta with my dad this weekend, in fact we're already there. Last night, when I was still awake and my dad was asleep, for some reason it felt that because he liked this stuff, he couldn't be trusted, and if I can't trust my father, who can I trust? I don't really know why this is all happening. I think my neck atlas may be out of whack, and my mom (who is an LMT) that when your atlas is out, it can actually alter your perceptions. So I'm going to get that checked out. And I am currently seeing an emotional freedom technique counselor. I have been taking St. John's Wort, vitamin C and B6 to try and help me through the fear (don't ask me why about some of those, my mom just picked them out and said they would help. she explained why but i forgot) , and Valerian Root to help me sleep. My diet, I have pretty much been avoiding all artificial sweeteners lately. I used to not do that. As for the depression, the fear is causing that. What do you think, should I see a psychologist and get his evaluation? Should I get an anti anxiety pill? What's going on here? All of this is extremely scary.

1996 suzuki intruder clutch problem?

I just bought a 96 intruder and after riding it when put into gear it would slightly lurch forward but when the clutch lever was released the clutch would not engage. I would sit there in gear as if I was in neutral. I changed the fluid and bled the line. When doing I would squeeze the lever, open the bleeder valve (fluid would shoot out 3-4 inches and then stop), only about .5 ounce of fluid would come out. After doing this the clutch seemed to work for about another 30 miles and then it did it again. Any ideas about what then problem might be?

How do I not stall a motorcycle?

I started taking a beginning riders ed class on Saturday. We're using little 250cc bikes to learn, but I kept stalling mine when I would try to take off. I would add a little throttle, then slowly release the clutch, but the bike would always lurch and stall. Any pointers on how to calmly and effectively get going without having that issue? No problems when I actually got going, just when I started.

Knee problems while running/walking?

check and see if the a/c compressor is locking up. even if she wasn't using the a/c if she was using defrost it still could be it. if it's acting up that would explain the squeal. it would drag the engine down making it hard to accelerate. plus when it let go engine would accelerate sudden.

Nike slide shoe help?

Hey, so my friend had these really cool slide shoes that I want to get. Slide shoes are like flip flops but they don't have a strap between your big toe and second toe, so there is just a big strap coming across your foot. The slide I want are Nike, mens, and are black and white. They also have a foam bottom, and the foam is black- everything else is white.
