How can I convince the guy I like I'm not a total weirdo?

so i'm 14 and so is he. i've liked him for a while now but i'm pretty shy around guys and i havent had a really good convo with him...we barely talk. we're in the same gym class, have the same lunch period, walk home from school the same way (in a nutshell, we have alot in common (interests too)) well alot of my friends think we woood be good together but they keep asking him if he likes me. i even had a friend who instant message him, prentending to be his friend, asking about me! i'm pretty sure he thinks i'm a phsyco and i sent all those people to ask him about me. and he probably even thinks i'm a stalker because i'm constantly running into him. please help me convince him i'm not weird.
