How to break a transmission?

Impalas now a days are automatic so try to do a burnout lol I saw a video of a guy in an automatic Vette, he tries to do a burn out and smoke comes out! But not through the tires, but through the tranny. So the car stopped cuz it made some clanky sound, the smoke cleared, but there's still smoke coming out...of the tranny LOL He basically burnt the transmission.
