Can my mother kick me out of the house with a baby?

I've been living with my mother for 9mos now and I have a almost 7mos old baby. I had to move in with her due to some problems with my son's father. My mother is very controlling...to the max. If she doesn't agree with something than I can't do it. Say I want to go take my son somewhere, I can't if she doesn't agree. I'm 21 btw. That's my situation in a nutshell. Now for my question. She's been threatening to kick me out lately. I help her with everything around the house, etc. I've offered to give her money but she refuses. She says that all I can take with me are our clothes. That all of our furniture is hers. That she bought it and it belongs to her. So this thursday I start a new job. She says that she's going to have the locks changed. Can my mother really kick me out of the house, without my belongings, or my son's(I can't take his crib, etc)? I don't know what to do. I'm so frustrated and need help. I live in chicago, IL...is there a program, anything, that can help us?
